There are two main Mining Colonies operating. Mining Colony Alpha (4,4) and Mining Colony Beta (14,5). Other systems may have smaller mining operations but these two supply major quantities of ore to the nearby areas. Lots of Player bases currently sell ore so these two bases have a reduced role to play overall.
