F2P Games News: Battlestar Galactica Online Announced The Open Beta Date

Bigpoint has just released an exciting news for Battlestar Galactica, the free browser-based space-themed MMO. According to beta announcement on the forum, the open beta for Battlestar Galactica will begin on Feb. 8, 2011.

There will be three servers scheduled for the upcoming open beta: Tauron for European beta participants, Scorpia for US east coast and Caprica for US west coast. More servers will be accessible to the open beta if necessary.

Although Battlestar Galactica will support several language options including English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Turkish, the beta participants is expected to use English as the official language in the open chat channel. Players can check out the chat rules, bans, or other chat related questions on the Chat forum.

One more exciting news is that the closed beta players will automatically remain their accounts on the open beta servers. Furthermore, Bigpoint has also released a latest video trailer showing off some exclusive in-game material on the YouTube Channel.
