Legend of Edda is a free-to-play action massively multiplayer online game, where players are immersed into the world of Greek mythology and play as either the Gods of the Olympus, the heroic factions, or the Titans, the hostile ones.

Anyway, it is up to the players to choose their favorite character, like Mage who is responsible for assisting and ranging the attack or Fighter for absorbing the damage as well as protecting the companions. After finishing the character selection, players enter into the fantasy world for Legend of Edda. When players participate in the Edda world for the first time, they may find that everything here is very elaborate and beautiful including the buildings, the characters, the monsters and more. Wonderful graphics are very attractive to players especially those who like the comic style.
According to the guide from the NPC, players are gradually familiar with the pleasing Edda world. There are abundant quests from which players can quickly acquire exp. and coins as the rewards. And then, players can buy various normal things like recovery medicines and many new equipments to enhance their ability.
When it comes to equipments, the florid effect should be pointed out. Every character class has his own equipments. When equipping them, the character is not only more handsome but also more powerful. For instance, the lightening claw (the special weapon for Assassin) brings an awesome feeling to others, as if the claw were saying:” taste my blade!” With the help of the fierce lightening claw, the monsters will easily become extra exp. and coins.
In the meantime, the battle skills are very dazzling as well, which show the shining effects both for damage skills and recovery ones. When players are in a battle, the order of skills releasing should be considered because some skills can add the negative effects on the target. If players have weakened the opponents beforehand, they are able to see the obvious damage additional on the target in the battle. If players are lucky enough to give the target a critical attack, they will win the battle soon.
Furthermore, the instance dungeons are very intense and playable. Maybe some people think that the equipments will dominate the trend of the instance battles. Well, they are wrong. In fact, players need not only the equipments but also the strategies. The reason is that winning the battle doesn’t depend on the killing but on the god crystal you have controlled in the end.
Take the map “Forgotten Temple” as the example. We can see that in the center part, there’re three god crystals. The mission for players is to get the crystals and transport them to the basement from being taken away by others. Players are able to make different choices.
The first choice is to control the center part. If it is reasonable for the classes composing of the team, it is easy for players to accomplish this goal. When the team is 4v4, Cleric+Warrior+Assassin+Mage is the best combination because of the enough DPS and recovery character class. If players fail to capture the zone, they should change the strategy. Then, it’s the second choice. Players can strike the opponent who takes the crystal if no one covers him to transport the crystal. At the same time, the team had better select one to capture the center zone, whose aim is to hold down the opponents who are protecting the crystal. If the team has controlled more crystals than the opponents, the best choice is to defense them until the battle is over. To some extent, the instance battle needs everyone’s cooperation, intelligence and efforts. Although the battle lasts only 20 minutes, it brings players enough fun in the game.
