The boats alongside the port will bring tourists to your isle. When you move your mouse to the icon of the boats, they will show the number of tourists and the arrival time to you. You can click the boats to host the tourists when they have arrived in the isle, otherwise you have to wait for tourists if the boats are still sailing. The tourists will bring you income according to different facilities you have built in the isle. Sometimes they will also be unsatisfied with the lack of facilities they like in your isle, and you need to add those facilities in accordance with the preference of your tourists .
You can have more and more tourists in the way either to use Item Card to speed up the boats, or to select to upgrade your boats with new ones. If you buy Item Card in the Item Mall, you should notice that every type of Speed Card can only be used for one time on each boat per trip. After you have earned enough money, you can also select to upgrade your boats by clicking the icon of your boats. The higher level the boats are, the more tourists they will bring. More tourists means more and more money they can get you.
Build different facilities to raise décor.
Click the Brush icon on the left side to enter the decoration mall, and you can buy, place and sell different kinds of lovely facilities and cute decoration items. The facility can be upgraded if you have fulfilled all the requirements, your level, décor and money. What is décor? It is an important factor for facility upgrade and tourist increase. The higher level the facility is, the more money it will bring you.
If you find your facilities are not open, it means there’s no customer using it at the moment. You need to pay your attention to make sure that the road towards the facility is not blocked. If it is, try to move the facility to another vacant position so that the tourists can use it. Sometimes you will see smoke coming out of one of your facilities. Oh, it has broken down and cannot be used any more. Just click on the facility to fix it, and you will get EXP as well. Put the facilities you like in your isle.
Visit your friends either grab gold or steal tourists.
How can a successful and interesting social game be without your friends playing with you? In Dream Isle, you have the chance to grab gold and steal tourists when visiting your friends’ isles. Don’t be so greedy if you have stolen the tourists once. A free gift is also a common function for social game on facebook. Send those lovely gifts to your friends or use Item Card to help or trick your friends. A funny party is celebrating when you come to the isles to have fun together with your friends.
Complete quests to achieve the accomplishment.
The quests include daily tasks and construction tasks. With the quests listed in the board, you have a definite goal to achieve the accomplishment everyday. Complete the quests to get EXP, coins and even item cards, and then you will easily level up in the game.
What’s more, there are different trophies in the Quest list. If you are a keen collector, you can’t miss the rewards for these trophies. After collecting trophies, a title will be shown upon your head picture. Different titles have different uses. For example, some add daily EXP, while some can earn you gold. The title will start to work the next day after you choose to use it.
Level up to have more choices.
The following actions can get EXP: clicking boats, collecting gold, tourists entering facilities, fixing facilities when they breakdown, upgrading your boats, expanding the ports and completing the tasks. You will be rewarded with Diamonds and Item Cards for level up, which are very important in Dream Isle. And you can even expand your isle, get more capacity of tourist, and unlock other facilities and boats.
Show your Dream Isle to others.
Choose the buildings and decorations you like and drag them onto the place where you want to put it on your island. By clicking the blue ‘Undo’ button, you can cancel the purchase and placing action. Or by clicking the green ’Tick’, you will confirm your change.
There are a plenty of cool buildings and decorations for you to decorate your own isle, such as Ghost House, Merry-go-round, Farris Wheel, Pirate Ship, etc. At the same time, the sky, the ocean and the turf can be customized too. Your isle is a place where you can show your unique taste to others. An amusement park or a snow land, it is up to you!
